In the team competition, the participating teams will be playing a round robin. The order of throw is determined with the help of the match reports.
Team line-up:
Both captains enter 4 players and a substitute player (optional) in the match report form. During an encounter, one player may be substituted, but may not be brought back into play again.
Order of play:
Before the first leg of each match begins, both individual players must each throw a dart at the centre of the board; whoever is closer to the middle begins the first leg; and after that, the players alternate. The following rounds will be held:
Singles 1: Player A1 : B1 (best of 3 = 1st set)
Singles 2: Player A2 : B2 (best of 3 = 2nd set)
Singles 3: Player A3 : B3 (best of 3 = 3rd set)
Singles 4: Player A4 : B4 (best of 3 = 4th set)
Doubles:
The two doubles are played as follows: Two players of a team form a double;
one player of each double must throw a dart at the center of the board; whoever is closer to the middle begins the first leg; and after that, the players alternate. A team wins the leg if they finish with a double out score.
Doubles 1: Players A1 & A2 : B3 & B4 (best of 3 = 5th set)
Doubles 2: Players A3 & A4 : B1 & B2 (best of 3 = 6th set)
Doubles 3: Players A1 & A3 : B2 & B4 (best of 3 = 7th set)
Doubles 4: Players A2 & A4 : B1 & B3 (best of 3 = 8th set)
If the score is 4:4 in sets, the two team captains play one more leg.
Individual women’s and men’s events (501 double out):
The individual tournament will be a first round in groups of 4 or 5 players. After the group stage, all participants will proceed to the knockout stage. Games will be played on 2 won legs (“best of three”); from the 1/8 finals onwards, on 3 won legs (“best of five”). Women and men will compete together, but there will also be a women’s final
Scoring
The scoring within the group stage follows the points system: win 2 points – loss 0 points. If two or more players have the same number of points at the end of the group, the deciding factors are first the direct duel, then the legs won. After completion of the group phase, the competition continues in the knockout format up to the finals.
