Travel with air rifle or air pistol

In principle possession of an air rifle or an air pistol is legal in the Netherlands. There is however one restriction: one can only legally own such a weapon from the age of 18 onwards. Furthermore when transporting an air weapon from one place to another via public road the weapon must be unloaded and placed in a gun case. Any other way of transporting a weapon (any weapon) via public road constitutes a crime.
