Off course. As long as you register as a company you can always participate. Whether you’re alone or with 100 colleagues. Make sure that when you compete in a team sport that you have to participate as a company team. There are no teams formed of individual players or by placing different company’s into one team.
You can find the corona measures in The Netherlands on the website of the Dutch government: Dutch measures against COVID-19 | Coronavirus COVID-19 | Government.nl. We will always follow these measures and make sure it is as safe as possible to participate in the games. We work closely with the ministry of Health, Welfare and Sports to create a protocol regarding Covid and the safety measures. This protocol will be updated continuously and we will start informing participants about the Covid measures closer to the event because we want to be as accurate as possible.
Off course you can attend if you’re not a top athlete. The ECSG are about fun, teambuilding and networking on a low level. Athletes of all levels are more than welcome to participate.
That’s certainly possible. You must register on behalf of a company or organization, whether or not that company has a company sport association isn’t a condition for participation.
It’s not obligated to stay in one of the accommodations of the organization. Each participant can make their own choice whether or not to stay overnight. Rather not? Select the hotel option ‘’without hotel’’ when registering. Note: the transportation between Papendal, the accommodations and the sport venues are only available for participants who book their accommodation via the organization.
It’s no problem to come to the ECSG with your own transport. When you book the accommodation via the organization, you get access to transport at the ECSG. This is not an obligation. There are plenty of parking spots available at all the locations.
We recommend Droomparken for companies with larger groups (>50 persons) who want to stay at the same location. There are a lot of houses available and the colleagues can be divided into a large or smaller house as desired.
It’s possible to register till March the 4th 2022, 11.59pm. After that the register tool closes and it’s no longer possible to change your registration.
All sports performances can be followed via the results page on the ECSG website. We will let you know as soon as this page goes live via our website, news letter and social media channels. In addition, those who stay at home can get an insight into the ECSG via our Facebook page and Instagram.
Everyone who wants to participate at the ECSG is more than welcome. There is only a small number of sports with a limit. These are: badminton, beach volleybal, bowling, golf, shooting and table tennis. Beceause of the limited space these sports have a maximum number of participants. The European Federation of Company Sports will announce in due course how many places per country are available for these sports, after which the national federations will allocate these places to companies and participants.
Each participant is responsible for taking out appropriate insurance. See also the conditions participants.
For all sports, participants must be at least 18 years old. In addition to an open category, some sports also have an ‘over 40’ category. In this category only participants of 40 years or older (born in 1982 or earlier) are allowed to participate.
For a number of sports, we advise participants to book their overnight accommodation in the vicinity of the sports location. This is to avoid long travel times. For the following sports, direct buses run between the overnight accommodations and the sports locations, instead of first via sports location Papendal. In the evenings the transport does go via Papendal because of dinner.
