Golf

Individual tournament for women and men with additional team score (3 players per company). The starting field will be divided into 4 handicap classes of equal size. All participants will play a total of 2 rounds of 18 holes each using the Stableford system. The tournament will be played according to the rules of R & A Ltd. The tournament management reserves the right to make changes until the tournament commences. All participants must have a valid handicap card.

Competition format

All registered participants will play a first and a second round of 18 holes each using the Stableford system. Participants will be assigned to the class based on the HCP they provided at registration. If the HCP has changed, the old HCP will apply for this event.The starting field is divided into a total of 4 different handicap classes:

  • classes 1 (HDCP 0 – 9.4) playing at Golfcourse Rijk van Nijmegen and Burggolf Wijchen
  • classes 2 (HDCP 9.5 - 18.4) playing at Golfcourse Welderen and Golfcourse Rijk van Nijmegen
  • classes 3 (HDCP 18.5 – 27.4) playing at Burggolf Wijchen and Golfcourse Welderen
  • classes 4 (HDCP 27.5 – 54.0) playing at Golfcourse Rijk van Nijmegen and Burggolf Wijchen

Competition rules

The official golf rules (including the amateur status rules) of the R&A, the ÖGV specifications and regulations, as well as the competition recommendations of the ÖGV and the course rules of the respective golf club apply. The tournament director reserves the right to make changes until the tournament commences. All participants must have a valid handicap card. All players with a HCP 37 till 54 playing in the tournament with HCP 36.0.

Scoring

The three best players in the handicap classes per women/men will receive special prizes, as will the best female and male player gross. In the team competition (3 players per company) there are prizes for 1st to 3rd places as well as for the best team gross. Each person participates in the European Company Sport Games 2022 in Gelderland at their own risk. Each participant is responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate accident insurance coverage.

Important information

Please ensure that you have enough time to reach your sports venue. See this page for more information about transport during the ECSG Arnhem 2022.

Team leaders/players must report to the tournament management in order to be registered and to receive the required instructions/information min. 30 minutes before the first game. Players must be ready for the game at least 15 minutes before start. Games will be started at the planned time if the minimum number of players is present under the rule of the game. If the required number of players is not ready to play at least 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the team/players loose(s) the match.
