Sports

A total of 23 sports will be offered during the 23rd edition of the European Company Sport Games. The sports are divided into different age categories and on the basis of gender. In addition, athletes with disabilities can participate in both athletics and swimming.

Age categories
For most sports there are two age categories:
Open category: born in 2004 and before
Category 40+: born in 1981 and before

The following age categories apply to sports athletics, orienteering, cycling and swimming:
Category A (seniors): 2004 - 1992
Category B (30+): 1991 - 1982
Category C (40+): 1981 - 1972
Category D (50+): 1971 - 1962
Category E (60+): 1961 – earlier

All participants are given the opportunity to exercise for at least two days. Participation in several sports (depending on the program) is possible for the following sports: athletics, cycling and swimming.


Limits
The number of participants in the following disciplines may be limited: badminton, beach volleyball, bowling, golf, shooting and table tennis. Please contact your National Business Sports Federation. They can provide you with precise information about the applicable limits per sport. Detailed information per sport can be found in bulletin 2 on our website.


Sport locations
This edition, the ECSG2022 will be held in various cities in the Province of Gelderland. That also means that we have many different sports locations.
